About Liberty Alliance for Youth
Coming Together for a Healthier Liberty
Liberty Alliance for Youth, also known as LAFY, is a community prevention coalition serving the City of Liberty and Liberty Public Schools. We bring together parents, youth, educators, professionals, local organizations, and community members to support the health, safety, and well-being of young people.
Prevention works best when communities collaborate and when young people know they are surrounded by adults, peers, schools, and partners who care.
Serving Liberty Since 1989
Liberty Alliance for Youth was formed in 1989 and has grown into a community-based prevention coalition serving the Liberty area.
Over the years, LAFY has built strong partnerships with schools, prevention partners, local organizations, and community members to support youth substance use prevention, mental health, and overall well-being.
Our mission is to bring youth, families, schools, and community partners together to prevent youth substance use, promote mental health, and build a healthier, more connected Liberty community.
How We Support Liberty Youth and Families
LAFY supports youth and families through youth leadership, parent and caregiver support, and strong community connection.

Parent and Caregiver Support
Providing families with tools, education, and conversation starters through Tuned In, Parent Up, Meaningful Meals, and prevention messaging.
Community Connection
Bringing schools, partners, businesses, civic groups, and community members together to support healthy outcomes for Liberty youth.
