Join us for the Tuned In Series, an engaging lineup of free educational sessions designed to support parents and caregivers of 5th and 6th grade students in the Liberty area. With options to tune in from home or attend in person, these sessions will help you strengthen your connection with your child and turn up your parenting tools for today’s challenges.

Earn a $50 Gift Card!
Parents and caregivers of current 5th and 6th grade students in the Liberty District are eligible to receive a $50 gift card after attending three or more sessions in the series!
To qualify, participants must:
Be a parent or guardians of a current 5th or 6th grade student
Reside within the Liberty Public School District boundaries
Complete the Tuned In Series Registration Form
Attend at least 3 full sessions
Note that incentives are distributed after verification of attendance, eligibility, and completed responses. One incentive per household.

The Clay County Office of Dispute Resolution partners with The Nurtured Path to provide this two-class, in-person program. Parents will learn to better understand their own emotions, respond effectively in difficult situations, and explore ways to support their children. This is also a space to connect with other parents navigating similar challenges.

How can you create a space for care and conversation as a trusted adult? You will learn about current social media trends in youth and what mental health experiences are beginning to emerge at this time of life. This will be a session about creating intentional relationships!

In this training, participants will learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorder in youth. Training is offered throughout the year, or private training for schools of 15 or more are available by request. Preregistration required and a certificate is provided upon completion.

As parents, we invest a lot of energy into safeguarding our children—through baby gates, seat belts, sunscreen, and more. But as our kids grow from age 8 to age 18, and their risks evolve, so too must our strategies and boundaries. This engaging presentation is designed to equip parents of 8-18 years old with the latest knowledge, effective communication strategies, and supportive resources to help children avoid substance use and other risky behaviors.

Building the resilience and strength of our youth and families is one of the most impactful investments we can make in our community. This presentation explores the science of stress and adversity, both the positive and the toxic, and equips attendees with actions so we can build resilient children, families and communities.

Anyone is welcome to attend, including parents, caregivers, educators, and community members. While some incentives are limited to eligible Liberty families, all sessions are open to the public.

No. Attend the sessions that fit your interests and schedule. However, eligible participants must attend at least three sessions to qualify for the incentive.

Simply complete the Tuned In Series registration form. Once registered, you'll receive information about upcoming sessions and how to participate.
